My friend Kamal Preet made a post on my Whatsapp community to join a Flipgrid Swag Challenge.
I did it hurriedly in order to meet up with the workload.
Immediately after my pupils closed for the day, I decided to do a minute video on “One word that describes my country”. Though there are deadlines to be met.
To my amazement, I was selected as one of the winners.
Two lessons I learnt from this:
a. Never look down on any opportunity to express your skills or showcase your talent. In every little opportunity lies the privilege to partake in bigger ones and open doors to more awesome opportunities.
b. Any opportunity given to express your skills should be seen as a privilege to be in the spotlight. It is a digital age and information about people and products fly faster. Also, be careful of how you do it, how you sell yourself to the public. Put in your best.
